From curiosity to change

Start where you are. Innovate with what you have. Innovation doesn’t require a perfect idea — only a willingness to explore.

Innovation is accessible to everyone.

This space was created to help you innovate clearly, confidently, and at your own pace — with real understanding and a concrete, practical process.

I believe that anyone can learn the innovation process, step by step.

Because innovation is a practice, not a privilege.
And because you already have everything you need to begin.

Innovation and invention

An invention is something entirely new, while innovation happens when a new idea is actually used and given value for people. It’s not enough for something to exist — what matters is that it solves a problem and improves life.

Innovation doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a journey that involves discovering needs, generating ideas, prototyping, testing, and improving. The process repeats itself; you learn along the way, and with each step, you get closer to a solution that works.

Innovation isn’t the gift of a few rare geniuses; it’s a skill you can train like a muscle. Curiosity, courage, persistence, and openness to learning are qualities anyone can develop. And it’s often the small changes that bring the greatest value.

A prototype can be a sketch on paper, a conversation with a user, or a simple simulation. What matters is testing the idea quickly and cheaply before investing a lot of time or money. The best innovations often start small.

A mistake or failure isn’t the end; it’s feedback. Every iteration helps you understand what truly works. Iteration is the heart of innovation: repeat, improve, and keep learning along the way.

The goal of innovation isn’t to break old structures for the sake of change, but to create something that benefits people: saving time, reducing stress, improving experiences, or opening new opportunities. True innovation is measured by the value it brings to everyday life.

Innovation isn’t always something entirely new. Often, it’s a small change that makes an experience better, saves time, reduces effort, or adds value for users. Sometimes, improving what already exists makes the biggest difference in everyday life.

I'm Anja

I have always been fascinated by processes — how things are created, grow, intertwine, and change. I am especially drawn to complex systems, of which we ourselves are a part. This curiosity led me to study innovation management and business development, and to work in a wide range of environments, from large corporations and small companies to nonprofit organizations, spanning industries from pharmaceuticals to culture.

Through these experiences, I gained deep insight into how powerful culture can be. It directly influences creativity, courage, and readiness for change. I believe that understanding innovation tools and processes empowers people to feel capable of co-creating change rather than merely adapting to it.

For me, innovation is not the privilege of a few — it is something deeply human. The world around us is constantly changing, which is why we need skills and tools that help us respond creatively, confidently, and thoughtfully.

I see innovative thinking as a way to connect with our inner potential, build confidence in our abilities, and respond using critical thinking. By analyzing the status quo, asking questions, and challenging established solutions, we uncover new opportunities for improvement.

I find it fascinating to observe how ideas grow, develop, and gradually take their place in the real world.

Because I believe that creativity is a natural part of every human being, I think it is even more important in a rapidly changing world to think openly, playfully, and with clear purpose. Innovative thinking is a skill that provides structure for finding solutions, developing ideas, and bringing them to life.

That is why I created MiselniBoxLab — a space where tools, approaches, and inspiration come together. A space where ideas come to life in practice, where knowledge circulates, collaboration fosters courage, and the future is co-created by many.

My goal is to share knowledge about the innovation process — a process that gives ideas structure and supports people through the discomfort of change.

Why MentisBoxLab?

Mindful
Because understanding processes helps make better decisions.

Box
Because we gather knowledge, tools, and ideas.

Lab
Because nothing is static; everything is created, grows, and improves together.

A space for curiosity, creativity, and change.

The excitement of how ideas are born, grow, and intertwine opens up space for exploration, learning, and connection. Innovation is not the privilege of a few — it is human.

Because creativity is a natural part of being human, it becomes even more important in a rapidly changing world to think openly, playfully, and with clear purpose. Innovative thinking is not just a skill, but a way to connect with your own potential.

MiselniBoxLab brings together tools, approaches, and inspiration that help ideas come to life in practice. It creates a space where knowledge circulates, collaboration encourages courage, and the future is co-created by many — not just individuals.

In an environment where space for accessible, entrepreneurial thinking is often lacking, MiselniBoxLab makes it possible for things to start moving simply, together.

From books, research, and academia, we distill the essence — to make innovation accessible to anyone driven by curiosity and a desire for change.

We build a bridge between understanding users, business viability, and personal motivation, leading to successful solutions.

We write about tools and approaches that help better understand users, test solutions, and make better decisions (yes, even if you’re not an entrepreneur).

The goal of MiselniBoxLab is simple: to encourage more curiosity, more play, and more courage to create change — whether small or large.
